Cloud and Infrastructure Lead

Position: Cloud and Infrastructure Lead – AIMSS (Contingent Upon Contract Award)
Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance: Top Secret Eligible
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successfully lead the AIMSS Cloud and Infrastructure Team:
- Provide administrative oversight and management of highly-skilled team members
- Provide technical oversight and management of cloud and infrastructure operations, including innovative development and maintenance of key cloud and on-premise infrastructure and systems
- Report directly to AIMSS Deputy Program Manager and coordinate closely with AIMSS Chief Architect
- Work with the MDA customer to capture functional and technical requirements and ensure iterative and final capabilities meet requirements
- Coordinate with Cybersecurity team (ISSOs, etc.) to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements
- Coordinate with Chief Architect, Data, and Software Solutions Leads to ensure alignment of efforts, plans, architecture and solutions
- Support a disciplined approach to architecture and execution using an agile methodology
- Ensure solutions are developed to maximize existing capabilities, in order to minimize the risks and costs associated with custom development
- Coordinate with cloud/hardware/software vendors as required
- Support technical/engineering boards as required
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience with cloud, virtual machines, server hardware, edge devices
- Minimum 5 years experience leading a technical team
- AWS, Azure, AI/ML experience required
- DoD experience required
- Strong, proven leadership skills with ability to communicate effectively and work as part of the team
- Ability to effectively interact with customers and translate business language into technical requirements
- Ability to think critically and maintain a positive, innovative work ethic
- Problem solving skills with the ability to look for root causes and implementable, workable solutions
- Familiar with DoDAF views (OV, SV, SrvcV)
- MDA experience preferred
Relevant Certifications:
- CompTIA Security + required
- Required IA certifications in accordance with DoD Manual 8140
- ITIL Foundation preferred
- Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Solutions Architect preferred
