Position:  Service Line Manager- Unified Communications (Video Teleconference and Audio Visual Concentration)
Contract/Location: MDA RECS – Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance:  Current Secret Clearance required
Position Summary:
Provides Service Line Management of Unified Communications with high concentration in Video Teleconference (VTC) and Audio Visual (AV).  Collaborates with customers and co-workers to develop VTC and AV end to end service strategy.  Develops VTC and AV annual service plan with quarterly updates.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customer and business managers to develop end to end service strategy.
  • Develop annual service plan with quarterly updates.
  • Provide information about service improvements and collaborate with customer to effectively support MDA financial and program management capability needs.
  • Guides Service Review process to drive continuous improvement efforts for service area.
  • Work in conjunction with Crew Chiefs/Leads and Deputy Program Manager to identify areas for (specific service line area—VTC and AV), standards, service offerings, and process improvements.
  • Work with management team to execute plan to make needed improvements.
  • The Service Line Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning process of their specific service line.
  • Responsible for leading successful implementations of the Line of Business through collaborative efforts with the Operations Manager, other Service Line Managers and government stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing the impact of future service enhancements, performing requirements analysis, defining service levels and metrics, and providing cost recovery strategies for the service line offering.
  • Understand overall program vision.
  • Explore new technologies trends and technical innovation and provide recommendations.
  • Strengthen the innovation pipeline by developing, planning and managing innovation concepts.
  • Navigate the complexities of the innovation landscape and foster connectivity and communications between all functional areas.
  • Work with Crew Chiefs/Leads and Deputy Program Manager to manage cross functional teams to drive innovation projects through the feasibility phase.
  • Develop the business case and own the business plan for each project and integrate into the overall budget plan.
  • Act as the innovation champion and provide specialist support.
  • Build engagement strategies to enable communication to reach the stakeholders in an effective, creative, and coherent way.
  • Primary knowledge resource within the IT organization for specific line of business. 
Qualification, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 
  • Position is in support of a government client.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • MDA experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs and government contracting a plus.
  • Position is in support of a government client.
Relevant Certifications:
  • PMP Certification, preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation, preferred.
 
ADA Specifications:
  • Occasionally lifting of 5-10 lbs.
  • Regularly required to talk and or hear.
  • Extended working hours.
  • Occasional travel expected for this position.
  • Will be required to use the computer screen for extensive periods of time.
