SUMMARY

Graphic designers create visual concepts to convey ideas that inspire and captivate consumers. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing innovative designs in order to effectively communicate the marketing initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and produces graphic art and visual materials for print and digital media including: videos, product illustrations, infographics
  • Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe's Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more
  • Create or incorporate product illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
  • Select type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Plans concept by studying information and materials
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, Create Suite and other graphic design software
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Deadline-oriented
