General Purpose of Job:  
 
  • To provide a top-level customer experience by continually improving sales and technical knowledge.
  • To work as part of a team to ensure, a positive work environment and continually improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop sales with our current and potential strategic accounts and distribution network Nationwide.
  • Undertake end user sales presentations and demonstrations.
  • Provide first level product set up and service support for the Industrial Scale and Tank & Hopper product lines
  • Educate and train current and potential distribution network and independent sales reps. Organizations.
  • Assist Sales Director America, when required, with preparation of but not limited to, sales reports, statistics and presentations
 
Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):  
  • Meet or exceed Strategic Account sales target as outlined by Sales Director.
  • Plan for the achievement of individual sales targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of Minebea Intec.
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge of Minebea Intec products by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by educating and counseling sales partners 
  • Build and maintain rapport with key accounts 
  • Prospect within territory to cultivate new sales opportunities in conjunction with the sales team
  • Set targets, forecast, monitor and track Strategic Account’s sales performance - annual, quarterly and monthly
  • Host live demos via virtual showroom
  • Host virtual and on-site Academy training sessions
  • Travel to educate and update Partners on new and existing products.  Travel expected >50% annually
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Maintain and update company CRM
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Broad knowledge of a discipline, such as weighing, metrology and/or engineering.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare 3 month rolling sales forecasts
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities. 
  • Technical ability with training and support skills 
Occasional duties or projects, performed at irregular intervals:
  • International travel
  • Trade show setup
  • Virtual Expo support – chat bot, phone and video conferencing 
 
Required Skills and experience:
  • High School Graduate
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use Windows operating systems
 
Preferred Skill and Experience:  
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • 6-12 months client facing experience
  • Experience with PLC’s and industrial communication
Desired Skill and Experience:
  • Familiarity with industrial software programming

The salary for this role is between $85,000 and $95,000 annually.
