Location: Longmont, CO
Compensation Range: $71,000-$94,500 annualized depending upon education, skills, and experience.

Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Government Property Coordinator will oversee property control program activities to maintain ongoing accountability for government, associate contractor, and/or company property, in accordance with relevant government regulations and corporate policies. This position is responsible for maintaining accountability records, assessing the condition of materials and equipment, and coordinating the disposal of surplus or obsolete items. In this position, the Government Property Coordinator will also be responsible for conducting property audits, recommending and implementing property related policies and procedures, and various reporting functions. The role also involves representing the organization on specific projects with both internal and external contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement property management strategies in compliance with government regulations.
- Manage the receipt, tracking, maintenance, and disposal of property and assets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all government properties.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient use and management of properties.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and optimal maintenance of properties.
- Identify opportunities for potential process improvements in property management practices.
- Act as custodial representative managing safe storage of properties including warehouse(s) and other storage facilities and cabinets.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal property management regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in property management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desired Experience:
- Certification in property management (e.g., CPM, ARM) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with contract administration and procurement processes.
- Proven track record of successfully managing property portfolios.
- Experience with conducting audits and inspections of properties.
