Description

Our Civil Engineering Department is seeking a self-motivated, organized, civil/site development Project Manager to join our Richmond, VA office. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Manage multiple land development projects, both public and private 
  • Perform technical quality control reviews 
  • Prepare proposals and budgets 
  • Supervise/train/mentor civil engineers and designers assigned to your projects 
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of engineering designs and calculations 
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports 
  • Support the Managing Director in the development and maintenance of client relationships 
 
Requirements 
  • A BS in Civil Engineering  
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the preparation of civil/site construction documents and permitting submissions (local, state and federal) associated with a variety of land development projects 
  • Prior experience with and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Bluebeam, and Autodesk SSA 
  • Strong knowledge of Virginia engineering standards and permitting regulations is preferred
