RV Paint & Body Technician / Apprentice

National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) is experiencing exceptional growth, and we are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as RV Paint & Body Technicians or Apprentices.

As an RV Paint & Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and refinishing damaged RVs while ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of RV body construction and be skilled in using a variety of tools, equipment, and materials to restore RVs to their original condition.  WE WILL TRAIN YOU. 

We are also interested in Apprentice-level candidates who are eager to learn the trade and develop their skills in RV paint and body repair. Apprentices will work alongside experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience in repair, preparation, painting, refinishing, and restoration techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged RVs and assess the extent of repairs needed.
• Repair RV body damage using various tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Replace or repair damaged RV parts such as windows, doors, and trim.
• Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to match the rest of the RV's finish.
• Test repaired systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Maintain and clean tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in RV or automotive body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of RV body construction.
• Skilled in using various tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and matching techniques.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service shop
• May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending
• May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects
• May require working in tight spaces or at heights
• May require exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals
• May require working weekends or holidays
