RV Consignment Sales Consultant
The RV Consignment Sales Consultant is responsible for managing the consignment sales process for recreational vehicles (RVs). This includes developing and maintaining relationships with customers, conducting appraisals of RVs, creating, and managing listings, and negotiating sales. The RV Consignment Sales Consultant works closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales goals.
 
As a Consignment Specialist you will:
  • Work directly with sales manager on inventory
  • Cold call prospects from RV Trader, Storage, Facebook etc., seeking direct purchase of coaches or consignment
  • Communicate directly with consigners on pricing, stocking units into inventory when arrived, dealing with sales on pricing/negations with clients, Delivering offers to consigners
  • Partner with Make Ready team to ensure coaches are checked in, washed, detailed, staged and prepared for photography and advertisement.
  • Lot management, ensuring coaches are on the lot and presentable.
  • Coordinate with service department on direct buy or consignment units if items need to be addressed
  • Close out consignment, sending settlement agreements to consigners
  • Attend and work events/shows to drive prospects
Qualifications:
    • 2 + years sales experience; RV sales preferred
    • Computer and software proficiency; Sales Force and excel specifically
    • Strong phone skills (Cold calling)
    • Professional credibility, responsiveness, integrity, ethical standards, and ability to prioritize across competing demands
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to communicate challenges and opportunities concisely and clearly
    • This is a customer facing role which requires a professional image and delivery of exceptional customer service skills
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Travel may be required
    • Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
    • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
    • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
    • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service
    • Professional appearance and presence to meet company standards
    Working Conditions:
    • Work is primarily conducted on-site at the dealership, with occasional off-site sales events or customer visits
    • May require extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting
    • May require occasional lifting or moving of various equipment
    • May require travel to attend industry events or training sessions
