Application Lifecycle Management Software Engineer

Location: Cochabamba, Bolivia

Who we are looking for:

NICE CXone keeps growing and is looking for someone excited to join a growing organization that impacts all industries! With that global growth, we are looking for an energetic Software Engineer to join our team, helping the Product Development organization scale. Our Application Lifecycle Management team operates across several countries, working on optimization/automation, web application development, various scripting efforts, and product development tool integration / migration / administration. We want to build an internal data platform to automate optimization and growth further.   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience building web applications/services and scripting
  • 5+ years of experience with C#, Python, REST APIs, and Java/Groovy
  • Passion for learning and mentoring
  • Data analytics and Agile mindset
  • Comfortable with Product Development tools administration for Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and respective plugins
  • Comfortable with making API calls
  • Comfortable with Visual Basic scripting
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Bonus if familiar with any product development tool administration
  • Bonus if familiar with Active Directory (Azure and on-premises) or LDAP administration

  • Support the cloud adoption journey either through migration scripts, software development, and/or integration designs
  • View-Controller model development for web applications

  • Use Git for source control and GitHub for code reviews
  • Refactor legacy code into modern application patterns
  • Evaluate algorithms for cost, efficiency, and robustness

Technologies we use:

  • Cloud Administration - GitHub Enterprise, Jira, and Confluence, SonarQube, Blackduck, Veracode and other related plugins
  • Atlassian plugins like Automation for Jira, Script Runner, Xray, Structure, advanced roadmaps, TFS4Jira, Git for Jira, EazyBI, Groovy Script Runner, and more
  • API calls using REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Bridging data analysis (MDX, BI cube, SQL, etc.) to modern data science platform
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

We are a collaborative team of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) analysts, project managers, and developers with a culture of continuous learning and development. We have cloud journey adoption plans working with product development teams across multiple countries like Bolivia, US, India, Israel, UK, Czech Republic, and many more. While we support administrative functions, the team is focused on optimizing a global engineering organization. This requires engineering creativity, architectural mindset, data analytic skills, and excellent team engagement.
