Manager Security Operations

Location: SLC, UT

The Manager of Security Operations Leads leads the Security Operations Team responsible for remediating critical vulnerabilities impacting NICE CXone infrastructure components, systems, and applications. This role will work closely with CXone leaders and technical partners to integrate and prioritize a vulnerability remediation program that aligns with organizational need and risk management. The Manger Security Operations will collaborate with other teams to identify and implement remediations in regular intervals or when necessary.

Major Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Define policies, procedures, and best practices for the technical vulnerability management program for NICE CXone infrastructure, to include SAN, IP networks, system, and public cloud compute and storage needs.
  • Responsible for ensuring CXone's security vulnerability remediations are appropriate for business needs and meet industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Implement a proactive and holistic strategy to remediate findings that arise during regular internal and external security assessments.
  • Drive continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and logging as part of the FedRAMP Authorization Process, ISO 27001 certification, PCI audits, and SOC II audits.
  • Lead and develop the Security Operations Team.
  • Oversee the prioritization, categorization, documentation, and reporting of vulnerabilities.
  • Work within the greater CXone organization on security initiatives that span the larger CXone organization
  • Always follow the company Code of Ethics and CXone policies and procedures.

Required Education, Experience, and Specific Job Related Skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, business information systems, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance or related field or equivalent work experience required. ​​

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of technical experience working with information systems and implementing security controls.
  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity organization practices, frameworks, and risk management required.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to speak to multiple levels throughout the organization.
  • Experience conducting network scans, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing timely and complete remediations.
  • Familiar with scoring and prioritizing vulnerability characteristics and severity.
  • Experience and technical familiarity with the following data privacy and information security global compliance frameworks:
    • PCI-DSS
    • SOC 2
    • GDPR
    • CCPA
    • ISO 27001​
Experience Preferred:
  • Certifications in information security or related field (one or more preferred):
  • CCSP
  • CISSP
  • CASP
  • CySA+
  • Experience with multi-cloud security environments including Google, IBM, Azure
  • Thought leadership in security
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS services, architectures and solutions and their related security controls and requirements
  • Experience with telecommunication and call center services​​
