Director Business Development & Sales Operations - International

Location: Salt Lake City, UT


The Director of International Business Development and Sales Operations reports directly to the SVP Global Sales and has a unique opportunity to bring passion and experience in both business development and sales operations.  This role will drive the implementation and execution of the company’s international initiatives that impact critical success factors in the Sales department.  This position will lead and oversee the development of sales operations initiatives, processes and business intelligence strategies and will ensure efficient and comprehensive business reporting, and sales support systems.  Additionally, this person will work to enable the global sales organization and assist the local regions on business development.  This position will provide leadership and insight as the conduit for sales interactions with all other departments.


As Director Business Development & Sales Operations, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:
  • Provide international forecasting for future needs; revenue, leads, headcount, training
  • Develop and manage business development strategy with local resources
  • Assist in the enablement of new international sales regions
  • Responsible for the creation of content for quarterly business reviews
  • Work closely with US Sales Operations on existing initiatives
  • Create reports in DOMO and Salesforce
  • Work with US Sales Operations on quota development
  • Maintain individual and team product knowledge to the highest standards

To Land This Gig You'll Need:
  • ​Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management or Finance or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • ​Master's degree in Marketing or Business preferred.​
  • ​10+ years experience in sales
  • 2+ years experience in a sales leadership role with a proven track record of quota success
  • Solid understanding of needs analysis sales process
  • Strong understanding of inside and field sales environments
  • Experience working with contact management software
  • Success achieving revenue and effort quotas
  • Previous experience in telecom, call center, software, or hardware industries
