Description

Position: Product Owner – Financial Market Compliance (FMC)

Role/Responsibilities

The Product Owner will assume responsibility for providing domain knowledge expertise, data connectivity and business requirements for product development processes and deliver on:

  • Gather and document business requirements with stakeholders leveraging the functional expertise gained from past financial services experiences.
  • Collaborate with development team for new product development
  • Coordinate between multiple development teams
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Analyze customer data and market data to define integration interfaces
  • Define and contribute to product roadmap
  • Track project progress and coordinate project launch
  • Conduct internal product demos and assist stakeholders in demo activity

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of experience as a product business analyst in Financial Services
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong background in global Financial markets , Trading background – Big Plus
  • Extensive background in data analysis and data modeling either from a vendor perspective or internal program perspective
  • Vast experience with creating specifications (specifically the ability to understand business requirements) and delivering them to software teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (English)
  • Excellent business and technical writing skills (English)
  • Ability to travel as required 

Other preferred skills

  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis experience
  • Experience in financial risk and compliance
  • Strong experience in Project Management
  • Background in Agile Development Methodologies, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Feature Prioritization while defining product specifications.
  • Experience in a customer facing position, ability to manage customer expectations
  • Previous experience in financial standard protocols
