Nice Robotics Process Automation (also known as APA – Advanced Process Automation) is a leading solution for desktop activity automation and monitoring in the emerging market of Robotics. The solution enable enterprises to automate manual desktop tasks and by that brings high value in operation cost saving and human mistakes prevention.

We are looking for strong DevOps group manager with high technical and managerial skills to lead our DevOps group of 15- 20 engineers (Dev, QA, Scrum master), providing vision and direction; enhance the organizational capabilities, people skills and motivations as well as effectively manage the day to day operation.

The role will include being a part of the APA Management team.

  • Build and manage R&D multidisciplinary scrum team(s).
  • Build flexible development teams that can react fast to changes.
  • Build thought leadership and awareness working closely with respected Product team(s).
  • Create a Self-Management scrum teams by empowering the individuals and team(s)
  • Drive continuous improvement within your and dependent domains
  • Responsible for all people aspects of the team, such as hiring, reviews, mentoring, and career development
  • Responsible and oversee your domain technology, including governance, technical skills in place, best practices
  • Manage delivery of your technical domain, while preserving a Self-Management scrum teams.
  • We expect you to inspire your team(s) including innovation

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as people manager
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Hands-on experience in the following fields:
  • Windows, Linux
  • Docker & K8S
  • AWS
  • Jenkins
  • Git / bitbucket
  • Jira / Tfs
  • Artifactory
  • Python, Shell, batch or similar build scripting languages
  • Hands-on approach
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to take on challenges and creatively overcome obstacles
  • Great initiative; proven ability to tackle projects with a can do attitude
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
