Senior Software Engineer (Performance Team)

Our CXone cloud customer experience platform is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Performance Team. In this role, you will work with highly motivated engineers, focused on the performance and scale aspects of the suite, and strive to identify bottlenecks, system limits and optimizations of current and road-map features. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented engineering teams to improve our services to meet our customers’ future needs and expectations.


  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple groups to determine, gather and verify performance test needs
  • Lead, design and develop automated tests to simulate different application behaviors in production
  • Identify & resolve complex performance issues using diagnostics tools, logs and metrics
  • Optimize Micro-Services to allow maximum load
  • Work on performance frameworks as Gatling, JMeter to benchmark our services, look for trends and certify our system before it’s deployed to production
  • Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process


  • Passion for improving software & solve problems
  • 3+ years as a software engineer
  • Knowledge with Java or Scala
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject
  • Working with testing tools and scripting : Gatling\Load Runner\Jmeter\Selenium - an advantage
  • Understanding of CI/CD systems
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Jenkins - an advantage
  • Experience with RDS, Aurora - an advantage
  • Experience with Agile 
  • Proven background in leading activities from the idea phase to implementation
  • Excellent written and oral communication and human relationships skills
  • Self-motivated & a team-player
