Analytics Business Analyst / PRD Writer


NICE Actimize is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Product Management Analytics team as a Business Analyst, within our Financial Markets Compliance line of business.


About the role:

  • You’ll be joining a small but very visible, international team within our Product Management area, with a mission to ensure that our customers have the best-in-class surveillance capabilities to help them protect their businesses and satisfy their regulatory obligations.
  • The team comprises subject-matter experts, business analysts and developers with expertise in financial markets compliance / surveillance.
  • You will join the existing Business Analysts group but will work on your own projects; hence you’ll need to be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • You’ll take ownership of projects and be expected to interface with internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

  • Work experience as a product business analyst or similar role in product management a must
  • Hands-on experience writing detailed requirements for software products
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of different asset classes trading
  • Team spirit and good communication abilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • Experience working with BI tools is a plus
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience with a Software Company or in a consulting role

  • Experience within the financial services industry, specifically Trading and / or Compliance
  • Having a developer and / or product background

What is expected of you:

  • Understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements document
  • Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
  • Design both logic and display
  • Work closely with the development team to answer their questions during development
  • Write test use cases
  • Validating the quality of the product and making sure it meets the requirements
  • Address UAT and Production issues
  • Provide ad-hoc support and advice for urgent issues across implementations
  • Help identify and implement processes that will help improve efficiency
