Nice Actimize is currently seeking to hire Specialist Engineer, skilled at developing SaaS solutions to join the Actimize team in PUNE INDIA. We are looking for a talented & motivated professional interested in working on the latest Actimize offerings with special emphasis in developing tools and defining practices which complement and enhance the use and deployment of our SaaS offerings. You are someone who is passionate about developing next gen tools which aid in rapid development & deployment of bespoke SaaS solutions, someone who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get down & dirty with intricate code & SQL procedures, someone who is not afraid to look under the hood & break stuff to make new stuff work. Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of the Agile team to enhance & Improve software / Tools.
  • Provide technical leadership across the development teams in your functional area.
  • Be hands on & provide in-depth technical understanding of Cloud Software architecture.
  • Be accountable, as the lead of the team for its deliverables ensuring the quality of the team’s release by recommending & implementing best quality engineering practices are followed including (but not limited to): writing and running of unit tests, smoke- and regression- test automation, code reviews, and design practices.
  • Work with architect and set the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructure

 Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years leading a high performing team in an agile based software product development environment
  • Experience in high performance, highly available and scalable system
  • Experience developing and supporting hosted and/or multi-tenant software delivered as-a-Service (SaaS).
  • Deep Knowledge and experience with software design patterns and how they can be incorporated into software design.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with private and public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Engine or Azure.
  • Experience in database development with SQL databases
  • Experience with iterative or Agile methodologies, techniques and Scrum
  • Development experience with Web development technologies like JavaScript, ReactJS, Java Server Pages (JSP, Java Server Faces (JSF), NodeJS, AngularJS
  • Development experience using Java, Python, Scala
  • Familiarity with Rules engines like Drools and others
  • Development experience with RESTful API driven architectures and products
  • Development experience with Micro Services technologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, VMs, Kubernetes, Artifactory and SALT
  • Familiarity with Security systems and practices (SAML, Oauth, JWT)
  • Familiarity with Directory services and Single Sign On
