Position Summary

NextNav is launching a groundbreaking location service for smartphones, IOT, and other devices – an ability to determine floor level altitude service across the country – a capability that does not exist at scale anywhere today!  No longer constrained by legacy “flat earth” technologies, first responders will be able to determine floor-level altitude, which is essential for situational awareness, incident response, responder safety and many other location-oriented applications that are used indoors.  NextNav’s is the highest precision Z-Axis solution proven in the marketplace today.

We are seeking a consultant with strong relationships in and selling to the telecom industry specifically wireless access point/small cell solution providersThis consultant will establish and drive licensing deals for small cells, CBRS and other 6GHzequipment providers.  This will include determining product market fit, establishing partnerships with leading Wi-Fi access point and private 5G solution providers  Travel may be expected, conditions permitting.  Candidate may also be responsible for representing NextNav at appropriate conferences and trade shows as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Establish business relationships with small cell providers that drive revenue for NextNav location technology
  • Determine the market fit for 3D Geolocation for 6GHtz Wi-Fi and CBRS/private 5G solutions for in-building deployments
  • Leverage operational knowledge of gaps in location and technology products and practices
  • Lead engagement between NextNav’s technology and product teams around Wi-Fi access point and CBRS/5G network solution providers’ needs
  • Support carrier marketing opportunities, including co-marketing, trade shows and other activities

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Required:

  • 10+ years building relationships and selling technology products and services in the telco space
  • Experience Wi-Fi access point providers and CBRS/private 5G network solution providers
  • Direct product distribution and channel development
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

 

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with location-oriented products
  • Technical background
