Position Summary:
This position is for a Junior / Advanced Q&A Engineer working on verification of prototype and commercial solution for NextNav products
Responsibilities:
- Responsible of verification of prototype and commercial solution for NextNav products (GPS, 4G positioning)
- Develop python scripts, including driver of HW equipment; automate testing with Jenkins tool; drive field testing; give first level of analysis of test results
- Define and increase test coverage of the solution
- Write test plan and publish test report
- Work closely with the firmware, cloud and algo teams for functional testing of the product
- Have ability to understand, manage and modify scripts/programs for lab automation, bring up and integration testing
Required:
- BS/MS in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science or equivalent degree.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience (3 years with a BS degree)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong knowledge in complex python scripting and bash scripting, including telnet communication, Linux-based commands.
- Feel comfortable in a lab environment: power analyzer, signal generator and simulator, field testing
- Familiar with the Linux environment, shell scripting and basic Networking protocols
- Ability to work independently and within a team or across multiple engineering teams (such as systems algorithm, software, cloud engineering teams) to deliver prototype/product solution
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tough goals under pressure.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experiences in DevOps/Git/Jenkins are highly desirable.
- Previous experiences in C development are desirable.
- Knowledge on positioning and timing systems such as GPS products would be a plus.
- Basic RF knowledge would be appreciated.
- Use of various configuration management and collaboration tools

- 43,000 – 60,000 EURS/MONTH

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and equity grants. The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
