OVERALL SUMMARY
This position has a combination of clerical, research, and AP accounting tasks. The person must work well in a team environment, have excellent customer service skills, good Excel skills, and be able to prioritize tasks appropriately. The position requires attention to detail and an understanding of News America Marketing AP workflows and coding.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review, verify and process vendor/supplier invoices
• Monitor and process emails in AP managed mailboxes
• Submit new supplier/supplier update requests to procurement and track progress
• Review vendor statements
• Internal and external customer service
• Backup for payment processing, checks & debit memo mailings
• Assist AP Supervisor in ad hoc projects
• Non-Media AP processing which includes:
     o Validating invoice header information
     o Managing invoice workflow
     o Follow up with coders & approvers
     o Process uploads to Oracle for specific vendors
     o Manual entry of multi-period invoices

QUALIFICATIONS
• Understanding of basic Accounts Payable processes
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Respond appropriately and professionally if issues arise

• Take action quickly to resolve problems
• Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
• Proficient at typing and keying numeric data
• Oracle and Excel experience
• 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
