Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Sr. Manager to join our Business Operations team. You will ensure processes, people, systems, resources, and communication are in place to help us deliver on company goals. This includes leading initiatives focused on enabling action, accountability, and efficient execution across New Relic functions. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Operations.

You are an idea generator and executor. Collaborative team member, mentor, and self-starter. Creative and analytical. Technically adept and excited to be part of a tech company. A listener with high emotional intelligence who connects the dots and sees solutions. Passionate about making it easier for teams to do their best work.

What You’ll Do

  • Run cross functional projects: Identify and lead projects critical to executing our strategy, ensuring alignment on roles, responsibilities, and decision rights
  • Drive Collaboration: Build positive relationships with cross-functional partners to solve problems while ensuring open and consistent communications
  • Impact the System: Model organizational change, knowledge management, and decision effectiveness in order to drive ground-breaking business change
  • Evolve our Corporate Operating Model: Work across executive forums to build in standard practices for execution as we scale our business
  • Improve Business Workflows: Design, document, and optimize business workflows involving Product, Marketing, Sales, etc to drive execution efficiency and customer value

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Product Operations, Technical Sales, Professional Services, Support, or Customer Success
  • Commitment to consistently creating and fostering a more diverse workplace
  • Passionate about relationship building across all levels of the organization
  • Successful track record of driving cross-functional projects to completion using strong problem solving skills, exercising mature judgment, and completing tasks, large and small
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to initiate action and accountability from local and remote teams
  • A confirmed understanding of how people go through a change process, as well as experience and knowledge of organizational change principles, methodologies and tools
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a high-growth, dynamic environment; able to work in ambiguous situations while remaining resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

Nice-to-have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a professional IT services company or enterprise SaaS
  • Experience with OKR frameworks
  • Experience in internal data analysis
  • Experience in Portfolio Management, Engineering Operations, Product Management, or similar
