Your Opportunity

Are you an experienced Director of Product Management with a passion for product strategy, people management, and creating products that delights customers?

The Customer Adoption Platform group is focused on making the New Relic platform accelerate customer adoption to millions of engineers with disruptive packaging, pricing, and onboarding/upsell experiences that better align with customer value and make it frictionless to get started. Our teams own the online buying experience, authentication, customer on-ramps, and usage-based billing.

What You’ll Do

Product strategy: Define a growth strategy informed by customer and market insights, data analysis, competitive landscape, and company direction.

Internal leadership: Use this strategy to align and partner with cross-functional leaders. Establish credibility and strong working relationships with senior leaders. Lead internal and external product promotion, education, and support.

Customer interactions: Proactively work with prospects and customers to learn about the problems they are trying to solve, build great relationships, and inform product direction.

People management: Mentor and develop PM's by understanding their career goals and providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Outcomes: Define business metrics to define success and build a culture focused on outcomes.

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in a high growth software product organization, or a history of working with design and development to build a great customer experience
  • Prior experience leading a team of Product Managers
  • Proven track record of strategic decision-making, balancing business, customer, and stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and create alignment with senior leaders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that include the ability to clearly articulate business needs and customer problems as a context for collaboration to best solve complex problems
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, changing software business environment.
