Our frontend observability products for mobile devices and web applications help our users identify the pain experienced by their end users and speed resolution! With it, they can focus on delivering a great customer experience for their users, fully integrated with our entire portfolio of observability capabilities. We need an experienced Product Manager to lead those businesses, focused on identifying the rapidly evolving challenges faced by engineers building web and mobile applications, and delivering solutions for our customers!

How do you know if you're the right fit for this role? You have several years of software product management experience bringing new offerings to market, understand the languages and frameworks used to build frontend experiences like Javascript, React.js, Objective C/Swift, Java, Unity etc.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead product strategy for New Relic Browser and Mobile, informed by customer and market insights, competition, technical capability, and internal programs/assets.
  • In collaboration with Engineering, define a detailed product roadmap based on the company strategy
  • Own the full product lifecycle for key product development – from requirements definition, to delivery, to end of life
  • Establish business metrics and key customer/market research questions and work with research to collect key customer insights to decide on optimization or new product development. Maintain an active view of key competitors and their anticipated next moves. Deeply engage other parts of the team in this process.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Finance, and other relevant teams to provide the market context and key drivers that feed the revenue forecast and longer-term outlook and TAM.
  • Serve as key ambassador for the business, delivering clear, compelling communications up and across New Relic and outside the company to position your product for success and garner any support required to successfully implement our roadmap.

Your Qualifications


  • At least 5+ years of software technical product management, software engineering, or an equivalent educational and career background
  • Demonstrate strong experience in software development including planning and delivery in the frontend (web and mobile) space.
  • Experience designing and building APIs
  • Strong understanding of how modern technology systems communicate and are designed
  • Experience working on or leading enterprise/business-to-business products
  • Strong social skills, including the ability to seek consensus, lead via influence, patience and determination.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills, including data analysis.


  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MBA, or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience with frontend (browser/mobile) monitoring technology.
  • Background in SaaS and cloud-based software.
