Your Opportunity

New Relic is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team. This role will play an integral part in the Accounts Receivable team by supporting the billing and collections operations. The best person for this role is someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, passionate about technology, and excited to help our customers!

This role will have a direct impact on our company's quarterly growth and success by ensuring purchase orders, payments, and invoices are collected on time.

The opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on the applicant's location.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and cultivate working relationships between Sales and our customers
  • Collaborate closely between Finance, Sales and customers to ensure purchase orders are received and billing and payment collection is processed timely
  • Connect with customers via phone or email regarding billing questions and outstanding invoices
  • Coordinate and analyze large datasets
  • Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing duties

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 1-2 years experience working in a customer support role
  • Detailed and organized
  • Phenomenal written and verbal skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and critical thinking

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with SalesForce, Excel, Netsuite, Zuora
  • 1-2 years billing experience
  • Google Suite and mail merge experience
