At New Relic, we provide our customers with instant and deep insight into their application’s behavior and performance. With our SaaS-based application performance monitoring (APM) solution, we have our customer’s backs by transparently instrumenting their application and reporting issues, often before the customer knows that there is a problem. We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our fast growing Incident Intelligence team based in our Tel Aviv Office. This is a team of interdisciplinary experts, comprised of engineers from the recently acquired company SignifAI. The team is responsible for developing new innovative products in the application monitoring ecosystem that enables DevOps, SRE, and on-call team members to automatically monitor applications, reduce noise in their production environment, correlate between different production incidents, and manage the collective knowledge base of their team and organization.

What You'll Do

  • Play a big role in a small and dynamic team of strong developers, directly impacting New Relic’s product in the AIOps space
  • Develop high performance, responsive and standout user interfaces for displaying, processing and visualizing the next generation DevOps Artificial Intelligence solution
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
  • Create sleek beautiful results across multiple browsers

Your Qualifications

Must-have:
  • 4+ years of developing front-end code for web application development
  • 2+ years experience with React framework and Flux architecture
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and web development tools such as Babel and Yarn
  • Experience with breaking down product requirements into architecture design and implementation
  • Experience with maintaining software products throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • A deep understanding of methodologies and design patterns for JavaScript, HTML5, complex CSS and responsive design
  • Experience working in large JavaScript codebases and knowledge of how to keep the code modular and loosely coupled

Nice-to-have:

  • CS degree or a degree in a related field / Elite tech unit alumni
  • Visual and/or user experience design skills
  • Experience developing web applications backend (Python/Go/Java/Ruby/Equivalent)
