New Relic’s Commercial Sales Manager drives our brand, partnerships, C-level relationships and revenue regionally in North America, champions our strategic direction and vision, as well as coaches and enables our Commercial sales team members.

We are looking to grow our existing market leadership position by adding a proven sales leader to direct and guide this hardworking team. You will refine and improve the processes used by the team to continue our success through a period of exponential growth by mentoring the team to reach even greater heights. The successful candidate has a proven track record of building and developing sales teams and has worked extensively selling SaaS solutions. The right candidate has the correct mix of business savvy, coaching ability, sales acumen and emotional intelligence.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow customer sales and success by providing oversight, implementation of sales strategies, and deal execution to increase revenue and drive sales performance.
  • Lead a team of account executives focused on acquiring new logos and expanding existing customers by executing pipeline generating campaigns, and engaging with the C-level executives in companies across the Pacific Northwest
  • Hire, develop and mentor Commercial Account Executives to ensure that customers are blown away by the high-quality of our account teams
  • Improve the scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness of our sales teams
  • Communicate proactively with customers and internally within your team, handle risks and issues and raising upwards as needed
  • Partner with pre-sales, marketing, channels, sales ops to identify revenue prospects and opportunities to increase our revenue

Your Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software sales experience with at least 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Strong background working in a customer-facing environment and driving initiatives to improve customer satisfaction
  • Loves coaching, enabling and empowering teams
  • High-level of emotional intelligence that thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to set priorities and remains flexible in an ever-changing environment
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and presentation skills
  • Sophisticated communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • SFDC experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
