Your Opportunity

New Relic is searching for a Senior Analyst, Financial Information Systems. You'll help our Accounting, Procurement, and Sales Finance scale up as our company continues to grow. The Senior Analyst will be pivotal in leading the solutions and project deliveries to support the continued success of our business partners.

You have demonstrable experience with finance systems and are excited about the opportunity to join a high-performing team that is integral to the day-to-day operations, project planning and development. In addition to our San Francisco office reopening in 2022, we are considering remote candidates in locations where New Relic can do business, working West Coast hours!

What You’ll Do

  • Identify issues and analyze available data to identify the root cause of issues in order to provide recommendations on the best course of action.
  • Manage the release cycle, including validating enhancements and communicating changes to end users for SaaS systems to mitigate disruptions to the business
  • Identify best practices for finance system architecture, and integrations.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base of technical and end-user documentation for finance systems.
  • Lead projects to design and implement system automation (such as workflows and scripting) to support stakeholder business needs.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define the roadmap of system capabilities to meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrate technical & business analyst skills to build comprehensive requirement docs and project plans.
  • Acts as a mentor for less experienced colleagues.

Your Qualifications


  • 4+ year experience with Finance Systems on SaaS Stack
  • Experience with supporting SaaS applications (Netsuite and Coupa)
  • Mastery in business partner engagement for planning, prioritization, and trade-off decisions.
  • ​Experience collecting and translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Able to recognize the importance of continuous improvement, finding opportunities to streamline/optimize current practices in order to shorten delivery schedules, improve quality, and reduce toil.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to interface well with all organizational levels.


  • Experience in Suitescript and integration work between SaaS applications.
  • Experience with SOX compliance processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or other IT/Accounting-related field.
