Global Business Development Representative
We are looking for someone curious and motivated to join our Global Accounts Business Development team. You will help to grow the pipeline for New Relic Global Accounts by engaging with prospects and customers to further adoption and engagement. This is a uniquely advantageous opportunity where you will be able to engage with our largest, global customers in partnership with Global Account Managers. You will gain invaluable experience being a part of the process and conversations of our highest revenue clients. This role will give you a sales learning opportunity that will prepare you for an advanced full cycle sales role.
This role is oriented to be hyper-focused on top enterprise prospects across the globe, and will incorporate a significant amount of research for targeted, relevant outreach. We are looking for folks who are interested in taking a low volume, high quality approach to finding and helping convert global customers.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Global GAM’s and CSM’s to develop strategies to target prospects/accounts and secure meetings
- Tactical and strategic outreach to our global customer base
- Pre-qualify opportunities and schedule 25-35 meetings a quarter
- Effectively uses Salesforce.com
- Research and use modern outreach tools and methodologies – experimenting with new technologies and approaches to outreach
- Work hard consistently
- At least 1 year of sales experience
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- You must be comfortable and flexible in working with different Teams, with unique approaches
- Must be self-accountable and be able to work independently
- Passion for sales
- Prior BDR/SDR SaaS sales experience
- Based in AMER or EMEA
- Experience using Salesforce.com or other Client Relationship Management (CRM)
