We are excited to consider a remote engineering manager for this role in the Pacific Standard Time zone. If you are not in the PST zone you must be willing to work within our normal office hours. Remote team members will be expected to work out of their home office and must have successfully worked as a remote engineer in their current or past position.

We are hiring a manager for New Relic’s Product Led Growth team responsible for helping to build in-product experiences that help customers onboard and use the growing capabilities of the New Relic platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruiting and developing engineering talent for a high-productivity distributed team
  • Helping New Relic users discover and adopt our products
  • Working closely with UX designers and researchers to ensure our users have memorable experiences
  • Working alongside Product and Support organizations to make feature ideas magically turn into drama-free releases

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Experience managing high performing self-directed remote teams
  • Capable of diving deep and understanding the technical implications and risks of a decision
  • Experience in a backend language like Java, Ruby, Python or Node.js
  • Experience managing on-call rotations, dev-ops practices, and 24/7 operations
