Eco Boom Crew Production Lead (7am-3pm)

Eco Boom Crew Lead (1st Shift, 7am-3pm, Duncansville)
Primary responsibility of the Eco Boom Crew Lead is to lead the day-to-day activities of the Eco Boom team in order to work safely, produce quality products and meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and be Responsible for the Eco Boom production team to meet daily production scheduling requirements while ensuring all products are made to standard work and quality requirements
- Operates with Safety as priority during Eco Boom production
- Expectational Knowledge of Shredder system
- Ability to overcome minor mechanical issues associated with Eco Boom production machines
- Lead Team on production goals and rate
- Able to train new boom operators in all job requirements in Eco Boom work center
- Liaison between boom work center and production leadership
- React quickly and help resolve problems encountered during production
- Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and/or abilities:
- Strong leader able to coach and engage team members
- Experience and/or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Respectful of people – able to provide positive feedback to encourage fellow Eco Boom operators to achieve goals
- Demonstrated ability to operate the different types of powered industrial truck or willing to be trained if required
- Has basic technical knowledge of New Pig products and processes
