Material Handler
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our Inventory Control team. In this role, you will operate a stand-up reach truck to stock shelves, manage inventory, and support our Shipping and Receiving departments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with warehouse equipment, and a commitment to ensuring inventory is accurately stored and easily accessible.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate warehousing equipment, including but not limited to a stand-up reach truck, electric pallet jack, and hi-lo to stock shelves and organize inventory in the warehouse.
  • Ensure parts are placed in their designated locations in an organized and safe manner, optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring products are properly tracked and counted.
  • Communicate with the Inventory Control Team to ensure timely replenishment of shelves.
  • Collaborate with the Shipping and Receiving Teams to move incoming and outgoing products, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when operating warehouse equipment and handling materials.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks and projects as required, including inventory counts, cycle counts, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing on a stand-up Forklift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs individually and up to 100lbs during team lifts
  • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including temperature variations.
