Your opportunity for impact:
NetDocuments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at NetDocuments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the technology sector, particularly in SaaS (Software as a Service) environments. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and will play a pivotal part in our company's growth and success.
What your contributions will be:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Month-End Close: Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
- Other duties as assigned
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role within the technology sector.
- Experience in public accounting specifically Audit with a big 4 or equivalent accounting firm
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles and experience with ASC 606.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $80,000 - $90,000
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations
