About the opportunity:
NetDocuments is seeking a Sr Account Executive. The Sr Account Executive hunts, prospects, and engages new federal civilian customers, develops proposals and responses to solicitations, and manages the sales process start to finish. This role serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned agencies of current accounts with responsibility for retention and growth. Develops and maintains excellent knowledge and understanding of NetDocuments business, products, our competitors, and the public sector industry. The Sr Account Executive will report to the Director of Corporate Legal and Public Sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading and motivating federal sales with specific focus on civilian agencies (e.g. Justice, Commerce, Treasury, etc.). This candidate will have experience establishing and monitoring federal sales team targets and meet with prospective agency customers to answer questions about NetDocuments products.
What your contributions will be:
- Build own pipeline
- Responsible to hit and exceed revenue quota
- Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
- Understand client needs and hunt for new business opportunities
- Identify potential federal civilian customers and set approach strategies
- Retain and develop strong and long-term client relationships
- Act as the liaison between clients and resolve issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively
- Negotiate contracts
- Get feedback and suggest ways to increase customer engagement
- Follow up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends in the federal civilian market
- Attend industry-specific events
- Other duties as assigned

What you will need for success:
- 5+ years enterprise sales SAAS experience
- 5+ years public sector sales experience, preferably in the federal civilian market
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ideally you will have:
- Experience selling legal tech solutions
- Experience working with federal system integrators
- Experience working with business aggregators
