About the opportunity:

NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Web Strategist who will be responsible for leading web strategy as it aligns to the company’s business goals and methodologies, including but not limited to information architecture strategy, personalization strategy, localization strategy, engagement channel strategy, and website performance, while maintaining day-to-day updates and requests. This role provides an amazing opportunity for someone with a passion for full tech stack development and coding, as well as UI/UX, site architecture, and using data to inform decisions.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and a thorough understanding of digital marketing as it relates to driving demand. The Senior Web Strategist will have excellent organization, project management and communication skills. This team member will also strive to improve the NetDocuments website experience including user interface, overall navigation and flow, load times, accessibility, page layouts and templates, and effective use of graphics and media elements.

 

What your contributions will be:

  • Provide a strategic lens on all things web, including design, SEO, development, and architecture
  • Use data analytics to track and identify trends in website user behavior and interaction with the primary goal of drawing conclusions from this data in order to strategize and improve website design, user experience, and conversions
  • Determine new ways of improving UX by conducting research and proposing strategies, designing wireframes and prototypes, and testing
  • Enable content creators to responsibly edit website pages without the need for a developer

Guide the Marketing team on website and content analytics, performance, and improvements

  • Establish requirements and processes for the creation of new or optimization of existing website pages
  • Lead web projects through design, development, approvals, quality assurance and testing, launch, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Integration of websites with other technology applications
  • Conduct system tests, monitor results, and take any required corrective actions
  • Complete Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
  • Assist in the quick resolution of public-facing challenges or issues
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • A thoughtful, strategic approach to user experience on the website using data and analytics to form recommendations
  • Proficiency in working with both front-end and back-end coding languages and able to work on every step of the web development process, including prototyping and programming browsers, servers, and databases
  • A deep understanding of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, web programming, demand generation, A/B testing, cross-browser compatibility, web user interface design (UI), security principles, object-oriented design, multimedia content development, APIs, and other industry best practices
  • A track record of creating and delivering great, reliable website experiences
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Experience with CMS tools like Webflow, WordPress, and Contentful and with experience migrating websites to different platforms or servers
  • Impeccable time management skills and attention to detail
  • A highly collaborative approach, but self-driven and requiring minimal direction
  • Passionate hard work, personal ownership, and a curiosity to innovate and try new things

 

What you will need for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, or related field or equivalent academic and work experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in website design, development, or related background
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with pitching in to help as needs arise
