About the opportunity:

NetDocuments is seeking a Software Test Engineer Intern who understands the process of building and deploying software in both cloud and desktop environments. You will use your skills to develop manual & automated tests to validate software functionality.  The Software Test Engineer Intern will report to the Director of Quality Assurance.  The ideal candidate will need a solid programing background and possess the skills to learn, and become proficient in, a variety of tools and strategies.


What your contributions will be:

  • Evaluate acceptance criteria, determine test approach, write & execute both manual and automated tests as necessary.
  • Maintain existing test automation frameworks for all applications that automation currently supports
  • Write, debug, and execute code used in both API and UI automated testing efforts
  • Define, implement, and manage processes and “best practices” regarding automated testing
  • Provide metrics on business process and code coverage for automated test suites
  • Present test results to stakeholders
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt


What you will bring to the team:

  • Attention to detail
  • A strong testing mindset
  • A working knowledge of all types of testing practices and methodologies
  • The ability and desire to lean and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Experience coding in C# or a similar language
  • Experience working in Micro services
  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies


What you will need for success:

  • Experience in software development and the ability write code.
  • Actively pursuing a degree in a software related field
