About the opportunity:

NetDocuments is seeking a Business Applications Analyst to be responsible for creating, implementing, and supporting a variety of technical solutions.  These solutions aim to help improve the efficiency of our teams and to enable them to serve our customers more effectively, both internal and external.  The Business Applications Analyst will report to the Manager of Business Systems.  The ideal candidate will have experience with exposure to a broad range of projects and technologies.


What your contributions will be:

  • Assist in the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects and system enhancements.
  • Responsible for collecting and understanding business requirements, configuring systems, and creating documentation as needed.
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Take an active role in the change management, training and go live support processes.
  • Coordinate and perform system/functional testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with project team during user acceptance testing (UAT), including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoff.
  • Be an excellent listener who has a thorough understanding of what is important to the business.

What you will need for success:

  • Strong communication skills are important as you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, goals and challenges
  • Be comfortable with software and technology and be willing to invest time and energy to learn more
  • Ability to assist in the design and implementation of automated processes in
  • Ability to write and run queries against a database
  • You will assist in the design of integrations which connect disparate systems
  • You will evaluate third party software and assess its capabilities
  • Ability to tackle technology problems, and find creative solutions
  • Have an analytic and methodical thought process


Ideally you will have:

  • Experience with
  • Experience with SQL / RDBMS
  • Any exposure to software development is helpful.  This position does not require writing software, but you will work closely with software developers
  • Experience in Technical Project Management
