Position Overview:


This opportunity is a for a pivotal role in our global Sage X3 practice as we increase value to our clients and grow our recurring revenue.  The successful candidate will be involved in carving the strategy of release installations, or upgrades, for Sage X3 clients and ensuring that Net at Work remains a trusted partner to our Sage X3 clients by providing packaged services that attract the highest number of subscribers.

In this position, you will: Understand our Sage X3 client base, target industries, product and service offerings and evaluate our upgrade methodologies and offerings to differentiate both Net at Work and its Sage X3 practice.

 

  • For all Sage X3 clients associated with NaW:
    • Ensure profitability of upgrade services.
    • Mange licenses as a liaison between Sage and Net at Work clients.
    • Manage third party compatibility and service delivery for patch applications.
    • Develop and promote best practices for patch operations for Sage X3 clients across all NaW practices.
    • Support automation and efficiencies for clients related to patch applications.

 

  • Work within a high-performing consulting organization, reporting to the Consulting Manager of the Sage X3 business unit.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure profitability of upgrade services.
    • Ensure 80% of NaW Sage X3 clients are on a supported version of Sage X3 thorough proactive engagement with clients to schedule and budget compliance services with NaW.
    • Create and manage best practices related to patch applications delivered as software as a service (SaaS).
    • Work with marketing, account managers, and the Client Experience Plan leader to create and sell compelling subscription arrangements for supported versions of Sage X3.
  • Manage licenses.
    • Monitor and ensure client communications on Sage and related third-party licenses required for system updates.
  • Manage third parties
    • Proactively provide information form third-parties (Independent Software Vendors or “ISVs”) to the team on compatibility for Sage X3 releases including any required budgets for ISV services related to new Sage releases.
    • Assist ISVs to prioritize work activity for Sage releases.
    • Serve as escalation point to Project Mangers or other NaW team members for ISV involvement in patching projects.
  • Oversee best practice in implementation delivery for Sage X3 patches and upgrades including:
    • Provide templates and coaching for project mangers and deployment consultants.
    • Manage technical and functional documentation.
    • Mange environments that will support required training for the internal team’s educational requirements to prepare for upgrade services.
  • Assist marketing and sales enablement teams in development and maintenance of value proposition for subscription offerings related to Sage X3 version compliance.
  • Establish, track, and measure appropriate KPIs to understand the impact of upgrade programs on sales cycles and pipeline.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Sage X3 application landscape or similar enterprise applications for the upper mid-market.
  • Have or quickly gain an understanding of Sage X3 and its partner and channel community, competition, price and Net at Work differentiators to feed into messaging, positioning and the go-to-market strategy.
  • Results-oriented with strong time management skills and capable of performing well in a fast-paced environment and highly organized to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
     

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of ERP software product delivery.
  • Proven success in leading teams to deploy new or upgrade/optimization ERP projects.
  • Innovative, analytical, process- and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication.

 

Base [salary range]: $120,000 to $140,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.
