Position Overview:   

   

Our Employee Experience (EX) practice has an immediate need for an Account Executive. This position is responsible for selling Rippling HR/Payroll software, helping businesses streamline their payroll processes and enhance overall workforce management. As we continue to expand our customer base, we are seeking a talented and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. Location is remote anywhere in the USA and the territory is North America and the Caribbean.  

   

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue by selling Rippling HR/Payroll software solutions to businesses of all sizes and industries. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a proven track record in software sales, particularly in the HR technology domain. Strong interpersonal skills, a consultative approach, and a deep understanding of HR and payroll processes will be key to success in this role.  

   

Job Responsibilities:  

Business Development:  

  • Achieve or Exceed Quota Expectations.
  • Identify and research potential clients within assigned territory or industry verticals.
  • Proactively generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, industry events, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing leads and opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and identify pain points to effectively position our HR payroll software as a solution.

Consultative Selling:  

  • Conduct product presentations, showcasing the key features and benefits of solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with prospects to understand their specific requirements and align our software solutions to their needs.
  • Provide consultative guidance on best practices, HR compliance, and payroll processes to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and sales presentations tailored to the client's objectives.
  • Obtain referrals for new business from your customers.

Relationship Building:  

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, establishing credibility and becoming a go-to resource for HR and payroll software needs and finding the win-win.
  • Continuously engage with clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, implementation, and customer success, to ensure client satisfaction and successful onboarding.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:  

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and progress using CRM software.
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to sales management.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay informed and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

   

   

Job Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record of success in software sales, preferably in the HR technology or payroll domain.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects and clients.
  • Ability to interact and cell at the C-Suite Level.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling product presentations and close deals.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and payroll administration, including compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools to manage leads and opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven, with a strong desire to succeed.

Salary range: $75,000 to $100,000.  “Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) experience, including industry or product specific experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, and/or other applicable laws".
