Position Overview: 

 

Net at Work is seeking a dynamic, experienced Events Manager to spearhead our event management across various business units. This role is pivotal in driving our brand presence through meticulously planned and executed corporate events, sponsorships, and industry trade shows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in event planning, brand management, and sponsorship program execution.   

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  1.    Event Planning and Management: 
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all corporate events, including a variety C-level events, webinars, and company-sponsored events.  
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multiple business units to ensure events are aligned with and will influence each unit's revenue goals and objectives. 
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including venue selection, vendor management and negotiation, budgeting, event registration, logistics, timelines, on-site management, and post-event follow-up. 

 

  1.    Sponsorship Program Management: 
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive third-party sponsorship program that aligns with Net at Work’s strategic goals. 
  • Identify, recruit, and secure potential sponsorship opportunities that align with Net at Work's branding and marketing strategies.  
  • Negotiate agreements with vendors and venues.  
  • Foster and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term partnerships. 
  • Coordinate with sponsors to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and maximum visibility. 

 

  1.    Trade Show Participation and Branding: 
  • Oversee Net at Work’s participation in industry trade shows, including booth design, staffing, marketing, and promotional materials, ensuring a strong and effective brand presence. 
  • Coordinate booth design, marketing materials, and promotional items to effectively represent the company. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technology to ensure Net at Work’s presence is innovative and impactful. 
  • Engage with attendees, network, and generate leads to support business growth. 
  • Manage schedule of mini-theaters, identify, prep, and conduct session dry-runs for speakers at conferences.  

 

  1.    Communications: 
  • Drive communications across company on corporate activities and events. 
  • Work with Business Unit leaders and the Marketing team to distribute email, social, and VIP communications. 
  • Maintain internal events calendar and events information on Net at Work’s websites including post-event results and lessons learned. 

 

  1.    Branding and Marketing: 
  •        Ensure consistent and effective branding across all events.  
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event-related marketing materials and campaigns. 
    • Utilize digital and traditional marketing strategies to enhance event visibility and attendance.  
    • Identify co-marketing opportunities for event sponsors including signage, guerilla promotional marketing. 

 

  1.    Budget Management: 
  •        Develop and manage budgets for all events and sponsorship activities. 
    • Monitor expenses and provide regular (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) financial reports to the CMO on events ROI.

 

  1.    Performance Measurement: 
  • Implement metrics to measure the success and ROI of events and sponsorship programs.  
  • Develop and implement satisfaction surveys on leads and event execution for Business Units and key stakeholders. 
  • Provide comprehensive reports on event outcomes, attendee feedback, and ROI. Make recommendations for future improvements. 

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  •        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. 
  •        Proven track record in managing large-scale events and sponsorship programs.  
    • At least 5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a technology and B2B environment. 
  •        Prior experience with a CRM, ERP, or HR software company a plus.  
    • Prior experience in managing an events team including contractor and vendor resources.  
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously. 
  •        Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  •        Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. 
  •        Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a can-do attitude. 
  •        Acute attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities. 
    • Proven track record in managing successful sponsorship programs and trade show participation. 
  •        Creative mindset with a passion for innovative event strategies. 
  •        Proficient in MS Office, event management software, and CRM systems. 
  •        Ability to travel as required for event execution and planning. 

 

 

Base [salary range]: $105,000-$125,000.

   

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.
