Requirements and responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Work on assigned projects delivering data modelling and report development;
  
• Build/deployments & related artifacts for new development, enhancements & break-fixes;
  
• AAS Model & PowerBI Development;
  
• Unit Testing;
  
• Production Deployment;
  
• Design / Solution Documentation;
  
• Warranty Support;
  
• KT / Handoff to Operations Support.

What you'll bring:

• 6+ years’ Experience working in business intelligence, analytics, reporting in an enterprise environment.
  
• 3+ years of Power BI and SSRS experience.
    - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Architecture & Solutioning experience with specific to Power BI for various customer scenarios & preferences.  - Expert in DAX expressions / Power Query / Power BI service.
    - Advanced knowledge of SQL queries.
    - Design and develop complex reports in Power BI – create and publish PowerBI reports & dashboards.
    - Hands on Experience with Power BI Report builder.
• 4+ years of Azure Analysis Services and SSAS experience.
    - Hands on SSAS Tabular models, Multi dimensional models.
    - Hands on Data modeling, dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema.
    - Creating Hierarchies, aggregations, partitions, calculated measures, Role level securities.
    - Good understanding on facts and Dimensions.
    - Knowledge on model deployment to Azure Analysis services.

Other reporting experience:

• Experience performance tuning of Power BI reports / SQL  (Review and optimize execution plans, indexes).
  
• Migration of on-prem legacy reports (example, Cognos /Tableau) BI tools to Power BI.
  
• Experience working closely with users in a self-serve model.
  
• Retail domain experience.
  
• Experience with Agile.
  

Key skillsets:

• Azure: Azure Analysis Services, PowerBI (DAX, Power Query, PowerBI Report Builder), SQL queries.
  
• Nice to have: Microsoft Power Apps, SSRS or other reporting tools such as Cognos or Tableau, Azure Data platform (ADLS, Azure data bricks, ADO, ADF, Azure Synapse).
