Wage (gross): from 3.000 EUR/month plus VPP

Requirements and responsibilities
What you'll do:
We are seeking a Finance manager with accounting experience with solid knowledge of local and/or international tax regulations. The ideal candidate will handle both general accounting tasks and supervise tax-related responsibilities, including tax filings, compliance, and communication with tax authorities.

What you'll bring:
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
Processing, verification and accounting of employee expenses
Process accruals, prepayments, bank statements and fixed asset accounting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual company financial reports
Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of tax returns (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax)
Support internal and external audits, including tax inspections
Assist external consultants in transferring pricing documentation and reporting (if applicable)
Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal departments
Provide tax-related guidance within the finance team
Maintain proper documentation for tax-related transactions
Support and participate on monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities locally and also in the group
Supervise preparation of financial statements outsourced to a local accounting firm
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting records
Assist in audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Work closely with global teams for outsourced services received
Key skillsets:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
Typically 5-7 years of accounting experience
Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards (Slovak Legislation and IFRS preferred)
Proficiency with SAP accounting system SAP ECC or S4 HANA (Mandatory)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines
Slovak language – native, English – min. B2 level
