Requirements and responsibilities
What you’ll do
- The ideal candidate will be able to work with the existing team, helping to design, plan and document new solutions, custom interfaces, API Endpoints and web applications.
- The role will include the planning and creation of suitable documentation, such as functional and technical specifications for .NET-based projects.
- Design development, testing, and production environments which account for technology stack, security, considerations, performance, and integrations.
- Ensure development infrastructure is setup and configured according to company’s established best practices. Including areas such as solution structure, source control, continuous integration, and build scripts.
- Tasks require an in-depth understanding and ability to implement suitable technical processes that support the .NET eco-system for development, including source control, build, testing, and deployment systems.
What you’ll bring
- Experience of designing and developing web applications
- Strong experience of .NET development
- .NET web services / third party data integrations
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience and understanding of web services and web service integration MVC design patterns and frameworks, and SQL syntax and implementation into SQL Server
- Awareness and familiarity with Bootstrap, Angular and other frameworks
- Have 3+ years Agile (SCRUM) Experience
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, design, build and support
- Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
- Experience of deployment of code
- Experience of Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 instances and other AWS services
- Minimum business or technical degree
