Requirements and responsibilities 
  • Work independently on small projects or as part of a team on larger project efforts.
  • Responsible for lifecycle of project for small projects – including project documentation, defining business requirements, approvals, user acceptance testing, etc. as assigned by management. 
  • Interpret/define user requirements for technical specifications; create technical specifications and test plans
  • Design solutions to meet the business needs/requirements as defined
  • Develop applications based upon customer requirements and enterprise standards
  • Participate in design and code reviews and writing design and analysis documents as required
  • Identify, research and resolve technical and business issues, escalating issues when appropriate
  • Integration of legacy systems with new applications using Web Services
  • Create, execute, and document unit and system tests
  • Monitor performance of programs after implementation
  • Diagnose and correct problems with existing systems
  • Communicate effectively with all areas of IT and its customers
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:   
  • Javascript/NodeJS development experience/knowledge
  • Knowledge of VueJS
  • Experience designing, building, and testing microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Experience with build management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
  • Experience working with Kafka a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members such as project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts.
  • Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field
  • 5+ years in a similar role
