Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer the Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure on the AWS Cloud and VMware vSphere environment including performance monitoring, scaling, operations planning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Work inside the ticketing system to ensure issues are handled on time.
  • Monitor system performance and tune performance as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support and maintenance.
  • Work directly with architects and DevOps Engineers to debug problems and solutions within the infrastructure components.
  • Lead and contribute to the development, maintenance, and usage of patching and deployment task automation (OS, and AD, DNS Services and Roles)
  • Secure cloud applications and data against theft, loss, or other disasters
  • Work with third-party Application Integrations with SaaS providers and third-party development partners on integration.
  • Participate in a fast-paced engineering team.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Must Have:
  • The AD Server Administrator is responsible for the implementation of the hybrid cloud environment, as Microsoft Active Directory Software Administration and support of the cloud (AWS)/on-premise (VMware) environment reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Experience with various virtualization technologies including VMWare and multi-tenant, private, and hybrid cloud environments i.e AWS.
  • Experience with AD Backup, replication, availability, recovery, and deployment.
  • Experience with server OS and storage technologies.
  • AD Integration with PKI infrastructure, SailPoint, ForgeRock, CyberArk, Vault
  • Experience in scripting (Python, BASH, and/or PowerShell), experience with Experience with Windows 2022 and Linux
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships with internal teams and the user community.
Good to Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Experience building required automation tools using standard technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and DSC configuration is a plus.
Knowledge of Bluecat is a Plus
