Requirements and responsibilities 
What you’ll do
  • Translate business requirements and insights into “wireframes”.
  • Research, interview, and understand the needs and behaviors of users.
  • Create and present high-fidelity, interactive prototypes.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership relating to principles of usability and user-centric design.
  • Operate as a design generalist; own complex problems from beginning to end, translate research insights into ideas that form new features, and design the workflows and detailed interactions to bring those ideas to life.
  • Lead design of one or several features including user needs assessment, varying fidelities of wireframes / prototypes, user experience & navigation, and final visual comps / graphics.
  • Turn mockups into pixel-perfect designs, towards development.
  • Advocate user-centric solutions while considering time-to-market.
  • Facilitate Usability Testing and other UX methodologies.
  • Deliver design solutions to stakeholders and company executives, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback into the design cycle.
  • Contribute towards the product design system.
  • Will work closely with product managers, engineering, and product users in order to communicate proposed designs and gather feedback for their refinement.   
  • The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation, to building net new user interaction flows/patterns, to tweaking  pixels right before launch. You will be expected to utilize your full range of product design, research, interaction design, and visual design skills, and you will own the experience for the emerging platform.  

 

What you’ll bring
 
UX / UI experience:  
  • 2+ years of experience leading UX design processes, having completed at least one role, with a demonstrated track record of using UX methodologies in a complex B2B product/environment, e.g. requirements capture, usability testing, etc.
  • You are genuinely passionate about UX design and practices.
  • You have good understanding and experience with different UX methodologies.
  • You have expertise in standard UX/UI software: XD advantage, Sketch, Figma, AxureRP, Invision, Miro, Balsamiq.
  • You can balance needs of multiple concurrent projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams, and are able to produce and explore multiple design options for new concepts.
  • Develop product requirements and concepts into wireframes and designs, focusing on user experience.
  • Maintain a cohesive and consistent user experience of the product.
  • Deliver detailed, clear and accurate UX/UI designs to developers.
  • Assess the impact of your designs and usability changes.
  • Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging technologies & tools.
Other requirements:  
  • Ability to work in a fluid, start-up like environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and partnership in the Product Team.
  • You are flexible to change, and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Experience with Data Analysis (e.g. A/B testing analysis) is an advantage.
  • Strong English-language communication skills (oral and written).
