The Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Python Developer to join our backend engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data-driven applications, building scalable backend systems, and has a keen interest in machine learning and modern cloud infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Python-based applications using modern tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend components using Python and web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Implement data manipulation and analysis features using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to support ML/NLP models and data pipelines.
- Integrate applications with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with strong focus on unit testing and debugging.
- Manage source control using tools such as Git and Stash.
- Contribute to design discussions, technical documentation, and sprint planning activities.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and OOP principles.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and REST API integration.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and explore new tools in the ML and cloud space.

What Makes You a Great Fit
· You have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development with strong knowledge of OOP principles.
· Skilled in building backend components using frameworks like Django or Flask.
· Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
· Experience integrating applications with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
· Familiarity with REST API development, unit testing frameworks, and debugging best practices.
· Comfortable working with Git and source control tools like Stash.
· Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure) for deployment and scalability.
· Bonus: Knowledge of Machine Learning/NLP, CI/CD tools, and containerization (Docker, Jenkins).
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.
· Passion for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while contributing to technical discussions.
