Staff Accountant

Accounting Jersey City, New Jersey United States



  • Assist in month-end, year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries.
  • Analyze and reconcile related GL accounts.
  • Record daily cash activity and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Process and close Fixed Assets.
  • Review, analyze and post T&E transactions.
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by management.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related required.
  • 2-4 years of experience, with a solid understanding of accounting.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (specifically advanced Excel); experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solver who is highly organized, with strong attention to detail, to ensure accurate and timely task completion, with a commitment to quality.
  • Independent self-starter, with high initiative and strong work ethic, comfortable asking questions and learning from others.
  • Flexibility to be onsite at our Jersey City, NJ Corporate Office, as needed.
