Director, Affiliate Marketing

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for client management, finding creative solutions and doing great work. You should have a strong background in managing affiliate programs (5+ years) for Fortune 100 companies.


The Director role will be the leader of the New York-based Affiliate team in New York and serve as the Global Client Lead for one of the most beloved brands in the world. You will also partner closely with the Affiliate Practice lead on new business development. The role will report into the Affiliate Practice lead based in Los Angeles.




  • Delivering results for the client by bringing fresh out-of-the-box ideas, effectively managing the team’s deliverable on key client objectives, and monitoring performance
  • Assist with the growth of Neo’s affiliate practice through business development efforts
  • Lead strategic partner recruitment
  • Effectively communicate performance and strategic direction for the program to the client and the extended global affiliate team
  • Ensure executional excellence across the team
  • Be prepared to present, justify and defend all recommendations to the client
  • Provide recommendations for scale and/or efficiency within campaigns
  • Develop, grow and maintain strong strategic and tactical relationships with existing affiliate partners
  • Formulate and test new tactics
  • Do great work!




  • 5+ years’ experience within the affiliate industry managing enterprise-level accounts
  • Experience working across multiple markets
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and comprehension skills
    • Should demonstrate very strong analytic thinking with ability to relate results to client business objectives
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating and delegating to teammates in multiple locales
  • Passion for the emerging media and the digital marketplace in general – demonstrates interest and initiative to test new partner types and tactics
  • Experience with third party affiliate tracking platforms
