Search Supervisors are accountable for the ongoing management of search campaigns and help to keep the team (Search Coordinators and/or Search Strategists) on track while contributing to their career growth through constructive feedback and guidance.  They are also responsible for maintaining the day-to-day client relationships and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Supervisors report to the Associate Director and are expected to be proficient in developing, managing and executing search campaign strategies that help to achieve clients’ business goals.

Position Description:

  • Day-to-day accountability for client paid/organic search programs including strategic approach, recommendations and performance
  • Auto experience is welcome but not essential
  • Manage and provide guidance to the Search Coordinators and/or Strategists throughout the search campaign development, day-to-day management and optimization processes
  • Manage the preparation of and review paid search reports prior to client delivery
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Search Coordinators/Strategists by providing constructive feedback and guidance with respect to client communications
  • Act as project manager for any client deliverables including campaign reports, plan recommendations, training sessions, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day client relations
  • Assist the Associate Director in the preparation of paid search and analytics new business pitches, including participation in the presentation as required
  • Develop strategies in support of client business goals
  • Stay current on emerging trends and act as a thought leader, keeping the team updated on changes and best practices






  • 3+ years of SEM experience including management of junior team members
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • University degree or relevant college certificate required
  • Willingness to take on challenges and to learn
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using bid management and analytic tools (Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ads 360, Google Ads, Bing, Yahoo, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Omniture, Tableau, Datorama)
  • Highly numerate with an analytical approach
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills (including presentation skills)
  • Resourceful problem solver
  • Google Ads certified
