Business Analyst
Description
The Business Analyst for the LATAM & US Offshore team is primarily responsible for building reports, completing business analysis, and supporting client and back-office processes within the firm’s cross-border fund distribution businesses while supporting the sales teams in operational matters. This is a hybrid position and requires employees to be in the office 3 days a week. The position is located in our Boston, MA office.

- Prepare business reporting and analyses for Business Development Unit (BDU) team and senior management, focusing on sales results, revenues, productivity analysis, marketing activity metrics, and project tracking.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the LATAM BDU’s sales forecast and corresponding analysis.
- Support the Head of Business Enhancement and Operations with research on marketplace data intelligence and competitor reporting
- Collaborate with the Head of Business Enhancement and Operations in engaging with finance teams, compliance, and client servicing on client communications, 'Know Your Client' reviews, and rebate payments.
- Partner with LATAM BDU Sales and Natixis’ fund operations teams to resolve operational issues that may arise involving client intermediaries and fund transfer agents/clearing platforms such as BBH, Caceis, Pershing, and NSCC/FundSERV and the intermediary client’s middle office departments.
- Track projects and initiatives through completion, including progress and success measurements
- Establish data input standards and methodology, prepare documentation, provide training refreshers and monitor for accuracy.
- Engage with key stakeholders to build and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Serve as key point person and team advocate for questions and projects involving the Relationship Management tool (Salesforce).

- 1–3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of client needs and business operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and clearly communicate actionable insights and trends.
- Exceptional organizational abilities paired with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic through dependability and initiative, consistently delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Actively pursues professional growth by taking on new challenges and contributing beyond core responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for reporting, presentations, and data visualization.
- Experience with Relationship Management tools (Salesforce, Seibel, etc)
- Knowledge of mutual funds, share classes, (especially UCITs and SICAVs)
- Experience with Latin American markets
- Conversational or working knowledge of Spanish
