Description

The Client Service Associate acts as a point of contact for financial advisors and serves as a liaison to our back-office team on our Unified Managed Account (UMA) platform accounts. General questions and issues that come up may range from simple administrative questions to complicated operational or portfolio management issues that may require coordinating with other team members from different functional areas. This position is based in our San Francisco, CA office and is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of two days per week (preferably on Tuesday and Wednesday).  
The approximate hours are 5:30am PT to 2:30pm PT (east coast trading hours).
 

What you will do:
  • Field incoming calls and emails from financial advisors and sales associates; answer inquiries or redirect as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with trading, portfolio management, operations, & sales staff to research and respond to account-related questions, changes, or issues.
  • Produce and distribute reports both internally and externally.
  • Proxy voting and support.
  • Assist with maintaining, writing, and reviewing procedures as needed.
  • Participate in business meetings as needed.
  • Provide operational/middle office support as needed.
  • Respond to and support compliance and general audit requests when required.
  • Provide support/information required RFP/RFI requests as needed.

What you will bring:
  • 2-3 years of experience in client service or operations in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with some quantitative coursework
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Superb communication skills (written & oral)
  • Exceptional client service/interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of UMA platform managed accounts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities
  • Motivation to work on multiple issues/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, stress, and time-sensitive situations.
  • Team player
  • Must be willing to work market hours.
  • Vestmark/APL system experience preferred.
  • Series 7 and 66 certifications are a plus.

In accordance with the California salary transparency law, the expected annual salary for this San Francisco, CA, United States-based position is $55,000 - $95,000. Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other Natixis sponsored benefit programs.
